Dr. Felicia N. Gil, SAVES District Representative

Dr. Felicia Gil has 39 years of extensive experience working with children, their families, and the Miami-Dade community. She started with Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) as a paraprofessional, and later became an hourly teacher, teacher, coordinator, assistant principal, and Director of a federal grant. Dr. Gil continued ascending the ranks as a principal, director, and Administrator Director of Accountability and Systemwide Performance and School Improvement, position from which she retired in 2008. After retirement, she worked as a principals’ coach for a federal grant and soon after, began working with the SAVES program, assisting the director in supervising the program. She has been with SAVES for 13 years until present. Dr. Gil has a Doctor’s Degree in Public Administration from Nova Southeastern University and is certified in Educational Leadership.

Dr. Gil is committed to excellence utilizing a systematic approach to provide outstanding customer service to achieve desire goals and is excited to work in assisting new arrivals to the United States to achieve the American Dream.
